We're almost there! February is basically over! We got a bout of fake spring and peak bloom predictions! Celebrate the end of another long week with a dance party, plenty of art exhibits, and Girl Scout cookies (and beer.)

Thursday, February 27th 

Dana Tai Soon Burgess Dance Company: An Asian American Dance Journey
Experience a powerful dance concert exploring themes of identity, belonging, and home through the lens of choreographer Dana Tai Soon Burgess's Korean American heritage. A post-show Q&A will feature insights from his memoir, Chino and the Dance of the Butterfly. (Woolly Mammoth Theater; Feb 27 - Mar 1; All Ages; $30-$50) 

Girl Scout Cookies & Beer Pairing
Swap milk for beer at Franklin Hall. A grown-up spin on a childhood classic, you’ll get five Girl Scout cookies paired with RAR Brewing tasters for a tipsy twist on nostalgia. (Franklin Hall; 5 p.m.; 21+; $20) 

Boobs for Bingo
Join in the fight against cancer with a night of bingo and fun. There’ll be prizes from local businesses, with all proceeds supporting The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Friday, February 28th 

Uncanny at the National Museum of Women in the Arts
An uncanny exhibit opens at the NMWA on Friday, featuring more than 60 works exploring that which is both familiar and foreign through a feminist lens. Tickets are free with admission to the museum. (National Museum of Women in the Arts; 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; $13 for residents and seniors, free for people 21 and under.)

Chamber of Comedy
We could all use some levity. End the week with The DC Arts Center’s comedy showcase. Headlined by comic Steven Chen, the show will feature six local comics. Drinks available. (The DC Arts Center; 9:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.; $12 - $15)

Dancing Queen: ABBA Glitter Disco Anniversary

Taxilandia
Brooklyn artist Modesto Flako Jimenez hosts salons with local creators, exploring gentrification and community identity through storytelling and art. (Multiple Locations; Feb 28 - Mar 2; 3 p.m. & 6:30 pm, In-Person & Virtual; All Ages; $5 - $10) 

Mardi Gras at The Wharf

Dear Adult: A Writing Showcase

SOS Anti-Eviction Canvas
Support tenants facing eviction through outreach and education. In a short training, participants will learn how to speak with residents about upcoming eviction suits. Then, they'll partner up and head out to meet with residents about their rights, connect them with lawyers, and provide information on tenant organizing. No experience needed. If you have a car, bringing it to the canvas is encouraged; it's helpful to get to residents in non-Metro accessible areas. (L'enfant Plaza Metro Station; 1:30 p.m.; 21+; Free) 

Torture Garden Collection

The Old Money Project: A Premature Monument to Paper Currency
Mikael Colombu, under his persona Richard Trixson, presents a critique of inflation and the decay of currency in this thought-provoking exhibit, consisting mostly of outdated and discarded forms of currency. (The DC Arts Center; 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.; 18+; Free)

"Paris Is Burning" & art build at MLK Jr. Public Libray
