One of the most challenging parts of building The 51st from the ground up is growing our audience. When DCist was shut down there were hundreds of thousands of people reading the site. While we're growing fast, so far only a fraction of D.C. residents know about us. Spreading the word, sharing our content, and following us on socials are all really helpful things!
