Pedal Boat Race
Kick off Cherry Blossom season with a race across the Tidal Basin. The event includes timed heats and casual competitions with prizes for the fastest boats in multiple age groups and the best-dressed participants. Unlock Happiness
We’re living in uncertain times. Center yourself with spiritual leader Gurudev, who’ll offer tips on how to cultivate happiness, fulfillment, and peace even when the world’s a dumpster fire. Gurudev will be in conversation with Harvard professor Arthur Brooks, who will balance the faith-based recommendations with science-based research. (Warner Theatre; 7 – 9 p.m.; $35+)

"No One is Self-Made" Book Talk
Join Dr. Lakeysha Hallmon as she breaks down the myth of individualism and shares how collective support can tear down systemic barriers to success. She’ll be in conversation with D.C. native and entrepreneur Angel Gregorio. (Black + Forth; 7 p.m.; FREE or $32 with autographed book)
Chamber of Comedy
Support local talent at this comedy show headlined by Dom Rivera and featuring Tre Solo, Auriel Haack, Hector Castro, and more. (The DC Arts Center; Doors open at 9:30 p.m., show starts at 10 p.m.; $12+)

Silver Lyan is bringing some hanami magic to Dishonesty Bar for cherry blossom season. Youth Dance Performance
Support an emerging choreographer and young dancers at SoundXpressed Dance Company’s showcase, An Exhale of Hope. The performance will help participants grow artistically while connecting with the local community. (The Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage; 6 p.m.; FREE)
Walking Tour
Get your steps in on a walking tour of Theodore Roosevelt Island, an 88-acre park full of winding trails, diverse landscapes, and towering trees. Spot oak forests, sycamores, and silver maples as you learn about the storied site. (Meet at Gateway Park; 10 a.m.; $35)
A Ride for Littles
Catered to riders ages 3-6, this one-mile bike ride will wrap up with a bubble show and treats by La Dinette DC. (Lincoln Park; 4 p.m.; FREE)

Afrosoul Yoga

Girls Rock! Showcase
